Great Falls

We had a very adventurous day! Great Falls is a beautiful park we love to visit, and now that the weather is cooler, and the leaves are beginning to change color it is even more beautiful! We hiked, climbed on rocks, enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, watched the kayaks and rock climbers propel down, shared a picnic, and even climbed ALL the way down the cliff and dipped our feet in the very cold water!!! What troopers the kiddos were today!

It is one block away...caddy corner from Mady's school!! It's FABULOUS!!!!!
Daddy hasn't seen it, so we walked over for coffee and to show him why we love it so....

dark chocolate...I think it weighed about a pound...I was allowed one

We then made our way across the street the the Saturday Farmers Market(yes that is Mady's school)...we bought apples, plums, fresh herbs, spinach and lettuces, and green beans!

Every Saturday morning should be so glorious!!

Bye, bye Tree

Zach had the most exciting morning! He watch the tree across the street get chopped down..."TIMBER" he keep saying!!! It was so funny watching him!! He was in Hog Heaven!! He ran upstairs and dressed the part...he said he could help the workers if they got tired!! The trucks, crane, worker men, chain saw, mulch er...my, my, my! Could a little boy have a better start to his day...no way!!
