Zach had his 1st day of school today! Well...really his true 1st day will be on Wednesday...because today I stayed with him at school! His new school has what they call a "Transition Week"...which I think is fabulous for 1st time parents or kids that need to slowly be separated from Mommy...Mady and I would have possibly benefited from this...But Zach...not so much!! Isn't being the Mommy of a second child so different...been there done that!!! He has been asking when he will go to school since Mady has started Kindergarten!!! Today I joined him, half of his classmates, and their Mommies...we explored the room, made a family collage, and had fun!
Ms. Apella is fabulous!! She has taught at his school for 20+ years, she also has a 3 yrs old grandson, I am thrilled with her!!
Zach loves his classroom!!!! He has 4 fish and 2 frogs as class pets! The trains were a hit, and of course the firetruck!! He is going to have a fabulous fun year!
