Buffalo Bills vs Washington Redkins

Tonight we took the kids to their first Professional Football game! The Buffalo Bills are Peter's favorite team...What an experience! Sadly this is the only picture of our adventure! We did have a lot of fun...BUT learned, from our mistakes, how to make the next game better!!



Lessons Learned...

1. Go early and tailgate, maybe even throw the football around a little!

2. Don't take a back back!

3. If a night game...don't pack the kids day full of activities!

4. The kids don't like the pizza served at the stadium!

5. Park and take the shuttle!

6. Pee before you leave the stadium!

WHY???!!!

1. Zack whined...the entire bumper to bumper ride there that he was HUNGRY! That made Mady hungry...the horrible traffic put Daddy in a stressed out I am going to miss the most important part of the game mood! Did you know that the first 20 minutes of a pre-season game was the most important?

2. I was informed after walking(very quickly..cuz we didn't want to miss the start) almost a mile from where we parked, that I wouldn't be permitted to bring my back back in. Seriously...that's not funny...yeah he wasn't kidding!!!So...I sent Peter and the kids in and volunteered to walk ALL the way back to the car and take the back back(which I might add had my camera...that's why the above photo is our one and only picture...I took that on our speed walk in) Because I didn't want HIM to miss the start of the game!!

3. The kids were exhausted from their day out! And, tired hungry kids are NOT fun company!!!

4. We found that out $28 too late! Again see #1 next time we will go early and Mommy will bring lots of yummy food to eat!

5. The shuttle will pick you up at your parking lot and drive you to the stadium...and take you back after the game...imagine THAT!

6. Self explanatory!

The kids were asleep before we even got out of the parking lot!!! And somehow when you see their sweet sleeping faces...it was all worth it.!!!!
