Miss Lucy hung out close to the glass today!
Our day started out by painting rocks the kids found on their way home from the park last night! They came out beautiful! Zach said he was going to give one to his new teacher Ms. Appella!Then we figured out how to set our timer on our camera and took some pictures of ourselves! The kids thought that was a hoot!!!
So what to do today??? Well, when the weather outside is sunny with clear blue skies, temps in the low 80's, with a light breeze blowing...you just have to be outside!! So to the Zoo we went!
The National Zoo is wonderful! We go about once a week! Mady and I have been so interested in Mei Xiang's pregnancy progress! The still don't know if she is really pregnant or if it is a false pregnancy. Today they had her in isolation due to unusual behavior?? We watched her on the monitor, we hope she is!!!! Tian Tian is the Giant Panda shown above...Will he be a Daddy? After a long afternoon at the Zoo, we came home and since everyone was pooped out...we ordered Pizza! One of our families favorite dinners!!!
